How to Screenshot LG G Flex

Let's straight get to the point and know that we are going to use 2 keys to capture a printscreen. Volume down and power are the keys which should be used.

The power and volume down keys are located on the back and that's why it can be cumbersome to press both the keys together.

Steps to capture a screenshot on LG G Flex
  1. First, go to the screen that you want to capture an image of. 
  2. You have to press Volume down + Power (wake up) and hold the keys for 2-3 seconds only and then release both the keys. 
  3. You'll notice a brief flash on screen, signifying that your screenshot has now been added to your device's gallery.

Where Screenshot is saved?

The easiest way to access an image is a notification bar which needs to be pulled. The thumbnail of your captured screenshot is shown there and you can share the picture through whatsapp, mail using default sharing features. There will be no folder created in the phone's memory which has all the screen captures.

The LG G Flex has Curved P-OLED capacitive touchscreen of 6.0 inches with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. LG G Flex has the Android OS with version v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). LG G Flex doesn't have MicroSD card, which can be a problem for the few. Overall, it's a pretty good phone with outstanding features.

  1. I don't understand how this works, when everytime I try, it shows volume down...
    then offers to power down my phone...
    not working for me...
    anyone else having this issue?

    1. Hi Bill, It really works. It is a bit tricky as you have to hold the keys at the same time.

    2. It does work. I find it easier using my index finger to push both buttons down at the same time. You should try it (: good luck .

  7. It is a horrible setup, agree with it always offering to power down or volume down, when this phone takes photos they are prec8se and great.... with screenshot, hummm, how to know! Rarely!

  8. I can't get it to work either! I love the phone, I have had it almost 2 years. It's starting act up though, restarting on it's own, not receiving calls, etc. Screen shot is the only feature I have found that doesn't work.
