Palm Swipe
Palm swipe feature has been part of Samsung's clan when Galaxy S3 was introduced. You need to enable 'Movement and gestures' to user this feature.

Go to Menu >> Setting >> Motion >> Hand Motion >> Check Palm Swipe to Capture

After enabling the Sensor, go to the screen that you want to capture an image of. Just hold your palm over the touch screen of your Smartphone and move it from right to left. The screen will blink which indicates that screenshot has been taken and saved successfully.

Home + Power Keys
This is a default feature of any new age Samsung Smartphone. Hold down the 'Home' and 'Volume Down' buttons of your Galaxy S5 simultaneously. If you have successfully captured the screenshot, the screen will flash. It will be followed by a Polaroid animation and a shutter sound.

Where Screenshot is saved?

The next question of clever user would be where these Screenshots will be saved. The image is saved in the Gallery under the folder Screenshots. The easiest way to access and share the image is Gallery.

#1 Power and home key

  1. Press and hold the home button and the power button at the same time. 
  2. Hold them in for about a second or two. 
  3. Your screen will now flash and make a sound to let you know that the screenshot is taken. 

#2 Palm Swype

Samsung is the only company to fit sensors which can find recognize that palm has been moved above your Smartphone. There are sensors  near top of the Smartphone responsible to track these events. What you need to is - hold your palm over the display screen and move it from one side to another.

This gesture is called palm swype and to grab screenshots, you will have to enable palm Swype from the settings.
